After 20 years in business, one of the area’s oldest (and only) gift shops is closing up shop.
Zazu Shop was founded in 2002 by Caroline Haddad. The original location was in Leesburg, but flooding at the shop led to a move to Ashbrook Marketplace in Ashburn. It was one of the first stores in the center when it opened in 2005. Park took over about eight years ago.
The lease on Shop Zazu runs out at the end of August. A clearance sale has already begun at the shop and we’re told the store will stay open until the merchandise sells out or the lease ends.
